Heweliusza 18 office centre is part of a complex built in the very heart of Gdańsk, in the area between the Radunia canal, Mercure hotel (formerly Hewelius) and Madison shopping center. The project is situated at the intersection of Rajska and Heweliusza Streets and, together with the apartment building Rajska 8, it will constitute a modern office and living complex.
The area of the investment has been undeveloped since the Second World War, when most of the historic buildings of Gdańsk were destroyed. Today, with joy and a feeling of responsibility, we are returning this site to the city. The project, which is unique in its scale in Poland, focusing on the restoration of such a big area in the center of the city, will be in the tradition of the best Hanseatic architectural designs.
The project was developed by the renowned architectural office of JEMS Architekci and aims to preserves the historical character of the location, thus combining the past and present. It is a perfect example of architecture which is modern, and, at the same time, inspired by the surroundings as well as the history of the area. These inspirations are visible both in the geometrical body of Heweliusza 18 and its brick façade, which are characteristic for the Old and Main City.
Heweliusza 18 is an office center combining modern interiors and modern technology with a convenient and prestigious location while perfectly fitting into the surroundings, existing buildings and the atmosphere of the city.
